Ultramol Soluble Tablets dissolve in water for fast-acting relief of moderate pain that has not responded to single-ingredient painkillers. The paracetamol, codeine and caffeine combination targets headache, migraine, dental pain, period pain and rheumatic pains. Use for the shortest time, maximum 3 days.

How to use
  • Dissolve two effervescent tablets in a full glass of water and drink. Adults should leave at least 4 hours between doses. Ages 12 to 17 should leave at least 6 hours between doses. Do not take more than 8 tablets in 24 hours. Do not use for more than 3 days. Do not take with any other paracetamol-containing products. If pain persists, speak to a pharmacist or doctor. Not for children under 12.
Main Ingredients
  • Each tablet contains paracetamol 500 mg, codeine phosphate 8 mg and caffeine 30 mg. Effervescent excipients include sodium bicarbonate and other salts; each tablet contains about 362 mg sodium and 50 mg sorbitol. Consider total daily sodium if you are on a low-salt diet or have heart or kidney problems.
Side Effects & Cautions

You may feel drowsy, dizzy, constipated, nauseous or light-headed. Avoid alcohol, and do not drive until you know how the medicine affects you. Codeine can cause addiction if used for more than 3 days; stop and seek advice if headaches worsen with repeated use. Do not use if you are allergic to any ingredient, are breastfeeding, are under 12, or are under 18 following tonsil or adenoid surgery. Speak to a clinician before use if you have severe liver or kidney problems, breathing problems, or if you metabolise codeine very rapidly.

Tell your pharmacist about other medicines. Do not take with other paracetamol products. Warfarin, metoclopramide or domperidone, and colestyramine can interact. High intakes of caffeine from coffee, tea or energy drinks may increase side effects such as nervousness or palpitations. Seek urgent help after any overdose, even if you feel well.
