SolpaOne 1000 mg Effervescent Tablets give maximum-strength paracetamol in a single, fast-dissolving dose for pain and fever. Adults and adolescents aged 16 years and over who weigh more than 50 kg can use one tablet when needed, with effect typically felt within an hour. Dissolve fully in water before taking.

How to use
  • Dissolve one tablet in a full tumbler of water and drink. Use one 1000 mg tablet every 6 hours if needed, up to a maximum of four tablets in 24 hours. Take only one tablet at a time and do not exceed 4000 mg paracetamol in any 24-hour period. This presentation is for adults and for adolescents aged 16 years and over who weigh more than 50 kg. Do not combine with any other paracetamol-containing medicines. If pain lasts more than 3 days, or fever lasts more than 3 days, seek medical advice.
Main Ingredients
  • Each effervescent tablet contains paracetamol 1000 mg. Each tablet also contains sodium 533.51 mg and aspartame 10 mg, a source of phenylalanine. The high sodium content means people on a low-salt diet should take advice before use.
Side Effects & Cautions
Nausea, stomach upset and skin rash can occur. Stop and get medical help straight away after any overdose, even if you feel well, as delayed liver damage is possible. Do not use if you are allergic to paracetamol. Talk to a pharmacist or doctor before use if you have liver disease, drink alcohol to excess, are under 50 kg, or take warfarin or other medicines that affect the liver. Long-term daily paracetamol can increase warfarin’s effect. Avoid if you have phenylketonuria due to the aspartame content, and consider total daily sodium if you have heart, kidney or blood-pressure problems. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, ask for advice before use.
