How to use
  • Take the medicine with water.
  • For adults and children over 12 years, the usual dose is 1 or 2 caplets up to three times a day as necessary, with a minimum of 4 hours between doses.
  • Do not exceed 6 caplets in 24 hours.
  • Do not give to children under 12 years.
  • Nurofen 200mg caplets are not recommended for use in children under 12 years.
  • If symptoms persist or worsen, consult your doctor.
  • Do not take Nurofen 200mg caplets if you are allergic to ibuprofen.
  • Do not take more than the recommended dose.
  • Always read the leaflet enclosed in the pack before you take the medicine.

Side Effects & Cautions
Side Effects:
  • Allergic reactions: Swelling of face, lips, tongue or throat, difficulty swallowing or breathing.
  • Stomach related issues: There's risk for stomach bleeding, ulcer or perforation. Symptoms include painful stomach, blood in stools or dark tarry stools.
  • Cardiovascular effects: Prolonged use may increase the risk of heart attack or stroke. Avoid this medication if you have heart disease, high blood pressure or cholesterol.
  • Asthma attacks: May cause asthma attacks. Avoid if allergic to aspirin or other NSAIDs.
  • Renal effects: It may affect kidney function. Not advisable for people with kidney disease.
  • Liver effects: It may lead to increase in liver enzymes leading to liver damage.
  • Always consult with a physician before taking this medication. Do not exceed the recommended dosage and duration of use.
Cautions:
  • Do not take if you have allergies to ibuprofen or any other ingredient in Nurofen.
  • Avoid use if you have a history of stomach ulcers or other serious stomach disorders.
  • Do not use if you are pregnant unless advised by your doctor.
  • Consult a doctor if symptoms persist or worsen.
  • Avoid taking Nurofen if you have severe heart, kidney, or liver problems.
  • Overdose can be harmful, do not exceed the recommended dose.
  • Not recommended for children under 12 years of age.
  • Nurofen may interact with other medications, seek medical advice if you are taking other drugs.
  • Can cause dizziness, do not operate machinery or drive if affected.
  • Stop use immediately and seek medical attention if you experience any serious side effects.
