Dymista Control combines an antihistamine and a corticosteroid to relieve moderate to severe hay fever when single-therapy sprays have not helped. It starts to work in about 5 minutes and reduces sneezing, blocked nose, runny nose and itchy eyes. For adults 18 years and over.

How to use
  • Use one spray into each nostril twice daily, morning and evening. Shake gently, remove the cap and prime the pump the first time by pressing down six times until a fine mist appears. If unused for seven days or more, re-prime with one spray. Blow your nose, keep your head slightly forward and avoid spraying onto the nasal septum. Wipe the nozzle after use and replace the cap. Do not exceed two sprays per nostril per day. Do not use for longer than three months without medical advice, and seek advice if symptoms are not controlled within seven days. Not for under-18s.
Main Ingredients
  • Each spray delivers azelastine hydrochloride 137 micrograms and fluticasone propionate 50 micrograms. Other ingredients include microcrystalline cellulose, carmellose sodium, glycerol, polysorbate 80, disodium edetate, benzalkonium chloride, phenylethyl alcohol and purified water.
Side Effects & Cautions
Side Effects:Local effects such as nasal irritation, dryness, unpleasant taste or smell, nosebleeds and headache can occur. Azelastine may cause tiredness or dizziness in some people, so avoid alcohol and take care with driving if affected. Do not use if you are allergic to azelastine, fluticasone or any ingredient. Speak to a pharmacist or doctor before use if you have glaucoma, cataracts, nasal ulcers or recent nasal surgery, tuberculosis, untreated infections, or impaired adrenal function. Interactions can occur with strong CYP3A inhibitors including ritonavir, cobicistat and ketoconazole. Stop and seek advice if you develop vision changes, persistent nosebleeds, severe irritation or signs of infection. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. This spray contains benzalkonium chloride, which may cause nasal irritation, especially with long-term use.
