How to use
- Daktarin 2% Oral Gel should be used as follows:
- Adults and Elderly: Apply the gel directly to the affected area with a clean finger. Use 2 to 3 centimeters of gel and try not to swallow it immediately after its application. Allow it to remain in the mouth as long as possible. The gel should be applied four times daily after meals. Improvement should be seen within a few days.
- Children (6 months to 2 years old): The doctor will tell you how much gel to use, usually a quantity equivalent to your baby's fingertip. It should be applied twice daily after meals.
- It's important that the gel should be kept in the mouth as long as possible. Avoid intake of food or drink immediately after using this gel. Continue treatment for up to two days after symptoms have cleared to prevent them from coming back.
- Always remember, this medicine is for oral use only and should not be used more often or for longer than recommended by your doctor.
