How to use
  • Adults and children 14 years and over, rub a thin layer into the affected area 3 to 4 times daily. Use 2 to 4 g per application, about a 1p to 2p sized amount. Leave at least 4 hours between applications. Do not apply more than 4 times in 24 hours. Maximum daily amount 16 g, maximum weekly amount 112 g. Wash hands after use unless treating the hands. Do not cover with bandages or plasters. Avoid sun exposure on treated skin. Do not use for more than 7 days unless a doctor advises. Not for children under 14 years. If dosing is unclear, follow the leaflet or pharmacist advice.

Main Ingredients
  • Each gram contains diclofenac sodium 10 mg, equivalent to diclofenac diethylammonium 11.6 mg. Excipients of known effect, propylparaben (E216), methylparaben (E218), propylene glycol. Other excipients, sodium hydroxide, hydroxyethyl cellulose, carbomers, medium-chain triglycerides, purified water. Pack size, 100 g.

Side Effects & Cautions

Common effects include skin rash, redness, itching or eczema at the application site. Burning or dry skin can occur. Stop and seek help if you get wheeze, swelling of the face, lips or throat, difficulty breathing, or widespread blistering or photosensitivity. Do not use if you are allergic to diclofenac, aspirin, ibuprofen or other NSAIDs, or to any ingredient. Do not use in the last 3 months of pregnancy. In the first 6 months of pregnancy, and during breastfeeding, use only on a doctor’s advice and do not apply to the breasts or large areas. Do not use if you have kidney failure. Speak to a pharmacist or doctor before use if you have asthma, stomach or duodenal ulcer disease, or if you take diuretics, ACE inhibitors or angiotensin II blockers. Do not use with diclofenac tablets or other pain and inflammation tablets such as aspirin or ibuprofen. Avoid use on large areas or for prolonged periods. Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
