Active Immune Capsules

• Adults, pregnant women, and children over 12 years, take 1 capsule daily with water or fruit juice. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Not for children under 12 years. If you take tetracycline or quinolone antibiotics, take this product at least 2 to 3 hours apart. If you are unsure, follow the leaflet or pharmacist advice.

• Per capsule: Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) 50 micrograms, 2000 IU. Vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) 250 mg. Zinc (as zinc citrate) 10 mg. Excipients: hypromellose (capsule shell), silicon dioxide, magnesium salts of fatty acids, iron oxide colour. Pack size: 30 capsules.

Common effects are rare, but may include mild stomach upset. Stop use and seek advice if you get a rash, swelling, breathing difficulty, or severe nausea or vomiting. Do not take if you have high calcium levels, a history of kidney stones, severe kidney disease, or sarcoidosis, unless advised by a doctor. Speak to a pharmacist or doctor before use if you take digoxin or thiazide diuretics. Zinc can reduce absorption of quinolone and tetracycline antibiotics, separate doses by at least 2 to 3 hours. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, this dose is generally considered safe, but check if you also take other vitamin D products. Food supplement, not a substitute for a varied diet and healthy lifestyle.
