How to use
  • Blow your nose to clear it before using the spray.
  • Remove the plastic cap on the nozzle.
  • Lean forward slightly and insert the nozzle into one nostril. Try keeping the other nostril closed with your finger.
  • Spray once or twice into each nostril while keeping your head upright.
  • Avoid tilting your head backwards while spraying.
  • Repeat the process for the other nostril.
  • Wait for a few minutes to allow the medication to take effect.
  • Do not exceed more than 3 doses (each dose usually 1-2 sprays) in 24 hours.
  • After use, wipe the nozzle with a tissue and replace the plastic cap.
  • Wash your hands after each use.
  • Note: Always read the leaflet inside the box for more detailed instructions. The product is suitable for adults only, and it shouldn't be used for more than 7 consecutive days. If symptoms persist, consult your healthcare provider.

  • Use with caution in patients with heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, or hyperthyroidism.
  • Prolonged use for longer than a week may cause damage to nasal tissue.
  • Do not use in children under the age of 12 years.
  • May cause blurred vision or dizziness, so avoid driving or operating machinery if these symptoms occur.
  • Consult healthcare professionals before use if pregnant or breastfeeding.
Cautions:
  • Do not use Otrivine Adult Nasal Spray if you are allergic to any of its ingredients.
  • Avoid using it for more than 7 days in a row, as it could lead to a medical condition called rebound congestion.
  • Not recommended for use by children under the age of 12.
  • Avoid getting the spray in your eyes. If it happens, rinse thoroughly with water.
  • Do not use if you recently had neurosurgery or surgery to remove your pituitary gland.
  • Consult your doctor before using if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
  • Use with caution if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, or diabetes.
  • Stop using the spray and seek immediate medical help if you experience difficulty in breathing or swelling of face, lips or throat after using it.
