How to use
- Unpack the machine.
- Keep the machine on a flat surface.
- Plug in the device if necessary.
- Insert four AA batteries in case you want to use it without a power source.
- Slide your arm through the cuff ensuring the monitor aligns with your heart level. The cuff should be worn on your upper arm.
- It should fit snuggly but not too tight – you should be able to fit two fingers underneath.
- Relax in a sitting position, preferably with your feet flat on the floor.
- Turn on the machine by pressing the power button.
- Once the machine is on, press the start button.
- The cuff will inflate and sudenly deflate.
- Remain calm and still, the machine will now measure your blood pressure.
- The result will be displayed on a digital screen. There will be two readings - systolic (top number) and diastolic (lower number).
- The machine will also display your pulse rate.
- Note down the readings for your record or to share with your doctor.
- Once you have your readings, press the power button to turn off the machine.
- Remove the cuff from your arm.
