How to use
- For an adult (12 years and older): Take 2 capsules initially, followed by 1 capsule after each loose bowel movement. Do not take more than 6 capsules in any 24-hour period.
- For children between the ages of 9-11 years (20 - 30kg): 1 capsule initially, followed by 1 capsule after each loose bowel movement, or as advised by a doctor. Do not take more than 4 capsules in any 24-hour period.
- For children between the ages of 6-8 years (20 - 30kg): As advised by a doctor. Do not take more than 3 capsules in any 24-hour period.
- For children between the ages of 2-5 years (13 – 20kg): As advised by a doctor. Do not take more than 2 capsules in any 24-hour period.
- Capsules should be swallowed whole with a drink of water.
- This medication should not be taken for more than 48 hours without seeking medical advice. If symptoms persist for more than 48 hours, consult your doctor.

- Always take Imodium Classic Capsules 2mg according to the prescribed dose; overdose can cause severe heart problems.
- Common side effects include dizziness, drowsiness, and dry mouth.
- This medication may cause an allergic reaction in some people. Seek medical help immediately if you have symptoms like rash, itching, swelling, or trouble breathing.
- Long-term use may lead to constipation or persistent abdominal pain.
- Do not use if you have a certain kind of stool (black, bloody, or tarry) or if you have diarrhea caused by food poisoning or antibiotics.
- Consult with your doctor before use if you have a liver disease.
- This medication should not be used in children under the age of 12 unless directed by a doctor.
- In case of pregnancy or breastfeeding, consult with your healthcare professional prior being on this medication.
- Operating machinery or driving should be avoided as drowsiness can occur.
- Alcohol intake should be limited as it can exacerbate these side effects.

- Do not exceed the recommended dose and duration of use.
