How to use
  • The standard dosage for adults and elderly is usually one or two tablets at bedtime when necessary.
  • The tablet should be taken orally with a sufficient amount of water.
  • Do not crush or chew the tablets. Swallow each tablet whole.
  • The maximum daily dose should not exceed the advice of the doctor or pharmacist.
  • It may take up to 8-12 hours for the tablet to take effect.
  • If symptoms persist after three days, consult your pharmacist or doctor.
  • Senokot Max Strength Tablets are not suitable for children under 12 years of age.

Side Effects:
  • Allergic reactions: Some people may develop allergic reactions like rash, itching and swelling especially on face/tongue/throat, severe dizziness, and difficulty breathing.
  • Digestive problems: You might experience stomach/abdominal pain, discomfort or cramping, diarrhea, and nausea.
  • Dehydration: Symptoms like unusual dry mouth/throat, fast/irregular heartbeat or decreased urination can occur.
  • Electrolyte imbalance: Symptoms like mood changes, muscle weakness, and slow/irregular heartbeat can occur.
  • Long-term use: Long term use can lead to dependence and loss of normal bowel function.
  • Consult your doctor promptly if these effects persist or worsen.
Cautions:
  • Do not exceed the recommended dose.
  • Not suitable for children under 12 years.
